Series 35 – Diamond Glass Densifier DGD

Series 35 – Diamond Glass Densifier (DGD)

Description

The 35 Series Diamond Glass Densifier is an eco-friendly, impregnating lithium densifier specifically designed to be used in the polishing of natural and cementitious surfaces. It is a concentrated formula and dilutes with water. It can be used in both interior and exterior applications. The DGD penetrates and protects the surface without affecting its natural appearance. The polishing application increases the abrasion resistance while increasing the resistance to freeze/thaw scaling, efflorescence, spalling, staining, mildew and fungi, and water intrusion. The enhanced penetration of the NANO particles with the NANO glass beads provide extended life, higher abrasion resistance with lower maintenance requirements, reduced cleaning costs and repairs while achieving an extremely high degree of reflection. It forms a dense, breathable, surface that will not flake or peel. The natural reaction of the lithium with the lime/calcium of the cement close off most of the fine capillaries in the concrete creating a highly dense, hard surface and greater light reflection.

Uses

The 35 Series Diamond Glass Densifier can be used over stucco, granite, natural stone, limestone, terrazzo, decorated concrete and any material made with Portland cement as a binder. Typical applications include concrete, polished concrete or stone flooring, countertops or any porous surface, natural stone or cementitious product, requiring added protection or reflectivity.

Surface Preparation

Ensure the substrate is dry and free of all foreign materials such as curing agents, laitance, glaze, efflorescence, dust, dirt, oil, grease, curing compounds, etc. that may impair or prevent penetration or bonding.

Application

The 35 Series Diamond Glass Densifier may be applied by spray, roller or brush. NOTE: Be sure to mix, stir or shake thoroughly before applying. As a densifier for polished concrete it is best applied with a pump type sprayer and applied with a microfiber floor applicator. Mix the product with 4 parts water to 1 part Series 35 Diamond Glass Densifier (one gallon container makes 5 gallons of densifier). Surface should be evenly saturated. Do not allow liquid to puddle. Depending on surface porosity, climate and temperature, dry time can be as much as 2 hours.

Once treated, the surface can take foot traffic after 2 hours. The surface will continue to harden over time, reaching its maximum durability and resistance over approximately 7 days.

Use water to clean tools or equipment, no special or hazardous disposal methods are necessary.

Limitations

Do not apply when temperatures are below 40º F or above 100º F. In hot, dry, or windy conditions, you may consider lightly dampening the surface.

Series 35 – Diamond Glass Sealer DGS

Series 35 – Diamond Glass Sealer (DGS)

Description

The 35 Series Diamond Glass Sealer is an eco-friendly, impregnating guard/sealer specifically designed to be used in the polishing/sealing of natural and cementitious surfaces. It can be used in both interior and exterior applications. The DGS penetrates and protects the surface without affecting its natural appearance. The polishing/sealing application increases the abrasion resistance while increasing the resistance to freeze/thaw scaling, efflorescence, spalling, staining, mildew and fungi, and water intrusion. The enhanced penetration capability with the NANO glass beads provide extended life, higher abrasion resistance with lower maintenance requirements, reduced cleaning costs and repairs while achieving an extremely high degree of reflection. It forms a dense, breathable, surface that will not flake or peel.

Uses

The 35 series Diamond Glass Sealer can be used over stucco, granite, natural stone, limestone, terrazzo, decorated concrete and any material made with Portland cement as a binder.

Application

The 35 Series Diamond Glass Sealer may be applied by spray, roller or brush. NOTE: Be sure to mix, stir or shake thoroughly before applying. As a guard/sealer for polished concrete it is best applied with a pump type sprayer and applied with a microfiber floor applicator. Surface should be evenly covered and should be burnished to a minimum of 98 degrees for best result. Depending on surface porosity, climate and temperature, dry time can be as much as 2 hours. As a topical sealer, a low pressure or HVLP sprayer is advised in order to keep a more uniform coat.

Series 35 – Cleaner Maintainer Refurbisher CMR

Series 35 – Cleaner Maintainer Refurbisher (CMR)

Description

The 35 Series CMR (Cleaner Maintainer Refurbisher) is specifically formulated to clean, maintain and refurbish new and existing polished concrete, terrazzo and other natural stone surfaces. It is ideal for industrial, manufacturing, institutional, government, commercial, retail and residential floors alike. CMR is specifically designed to quickly emulsify, attach to, and suspend soils, oils and greases by using “lift and hold” technology caused by different surfactants leaving no residue behind, making daily cleaning a breeze. In conjunction with the Diamond Glass Hurricane Maintenance System, your concrete or terrazzo floors will not only increase in shine and clarity but will also increase in abrasion and stain resistance.

Uses

The 35 Series CMR not only has specialized surfactants and degreasers in the solution causing ease of maintenance; there’s also densifier in the mix. In routine cleaning, the densifier will react with any “open” or “soft” pores in the concrete or terrazzo combining with the calcium hydroxide (free lime) to create a hardened, densified bond. This reaction greatly increases the life of your floor by hardening the substrate from the inside out.

Surface Preparation

Ensure the substrate is dry and free of all foreign materials such as curing agents, laitance, glaze, efflorescence, dust, dirt, oil, grease, curing compounds, etc. that may impair or prevent penetration or bonding.

Application

The 35 Series CMR can be used on any polished concrete or terrazzo floor. CMR can be used in a mop and bucket for those tight to reach areas and corners as well as in Auto Scrubbers to be used in open areas. When using the Diamond Glass VESPA Refurbishing System, proper dilution in your floor machine is suggested throughout the refurbishing process.
